Phase Compensation Based Crossover Design

Document Thumbnail

In this paper the polar response of a two-way crossover system around the crossover frequency is examined. A design strategy based on phase alignment of the filters at this frequency using either a delay or a first-order all-pass filter is described. Filters designed using this method are then compared to the classical Linkwitz-Riley designs.
