Comparison of Loudspeaker Equalization Methods Based on DSP Techniques

Document Thumbnail

Loudspeaker response equalization methods using digital filtering are compared in this paper. In addition to the known methods, this paper describes a recently introduced principle based on warped filters. The focus is on the comparison of the equalization error (magnitude and phase), computational efficiency, and robustness and precision requirements. Different computational error measures are used and compared to the results of the listening tests.
