Research on Cascadable Filtering, Equalization, Gain Control, and Mixing of 1-Bit Signals for Professional Audio Applications
The results of investigations into the use of 1-bit signals in professional digital audio equipment are presented. Algorithms required to perform the filtering and equalization of 1-bit audio signals are discussed, together with those for gain control and mixing. Particular emphasis is placed on the cascadability of these processing methods.
