Computing the Mechanical and Acoustical Resonances in a Loudspeaker Enclosure

Document Thumbnail

A method for predicting the mechanical and acoustical resonances of a loudspeaker enclosure using an eigenmode expansion is presented. The method has shown to be computationally efficient for enclosures with regular shapes, and the effects of absorption material placement and mechanical support are easily taken into account.
