The Model of the Adaptive Filtering in the Peripheral Part of the Hearing System and Its Implementation

The digital model of the signal processing in the peripheral part of the hearing system taken into account the feedback loop by the receptor potentials is proposed. The experimental results describing the increase of the probability of test words recognition in presence of noise by patients suffering from sensorineural impairment due to the use of the proposed model are given.
