Reduction of Second Order Non-Linear Distortion of a Horn Loudspeaker by a Volterra Filter-Real-Time Implementation

Document Thumbnail

Volterra Filter reduced the second order nonlinear distortion of horn loudspeaker in real time. The calculation is done in frequency domain, therefore the processor consists of only two DSPs. The results show that the reduction of the harmonic distortion and the intermodulation distortion is from 5 to 20 dB. The effect is also confirmed by listening test of music source.
