Digital Audio Transmission Over IEEE 1394: Protocol Design and Implementation
Since the paper -Digital Audio Performance Data Transmission Protocol over IEEE 1394- was presented at the AES 101st Convention, the protocol has been discussed under the Audio Sub Working Group of the 1394 Trade Associate. This paper describes the specification which was finalized in 1997 April. Also a discussion of the characteristics which affect the audio quality and an evaluation of an implementation are given.
