This paper presents some results on a study accessing the spatial information needed for the recreation of realistic binaural impressions of enclosed spaces from echograms simulated by a room acoustics predictive software developed at IRCAM. After brief descriptions of the software and the general principle of auralization in computer models, a simple formulation to obtain the binaural criteria IACC using the predictive software is explained, and some attempts to validate it are made.
