Loudspeaker power response, generally measured under reverberant conditions, can be calculated from measurements made in non-reverberant environments. Procedures for systems under free field conditions, gating systems, and using impulse test signals, are given. Particularly, a system using complex computer-based, high precision measurements at discrete positions is described, and the results are compared with conventional measurements.
