A technique for determining the Thiele-Small parameters of a loudspeaker driver using a single-impedance measurement of the driver when installed in a vented box is described. This technique utilizes nonlinear least squares optimization to estimate the components of the electrical equivalent circuit of a vented loudspeaker system, and can be applied to verify the tuning of the low-frequency alignment.
