Professional Applications for DCC
DCC as a PASC-encoded (musicam-related) storage media might be usable directly for transfer of compressed data over digital networks. The number of encoding and decoding processes could be reduced considerably by downloading data at increased data rates to other processing or storage media. Manipulation of compressed data will lead to more economical solutions and minimize loss of data on lossy coded media. Possible applications may include broadcast, DAB, and professional recording applications.
