Studio Production Techniques for a New Arts Center in Karlsruhe-Integrated Computerized Techniques for Recording, Postproduction, and Sound Reproduction
The Center for Art and Media Technology will be built in the city of Karlsruhe. Studios, rehearsal rooms, a workshop theater, test rooms, and a conference hall are in the planning stage. A full studio production technique must be installed for a music studio and a television studio, including control rooms. The media theater (workshop theater) has approximately 60 loudspeakers installed for multichannel reproduction. All rooms are connected via patch fields, partly in digital techniques. The main requirements and technical details are described.
