A Multiprocessor for Multichannel Sound Processing

A fine-grain data-flow model of computing is proposed for multichannel sound processing. According to the authors, the main advantage of this model is unparalleled flexibility of path configuration. The architectures of both a multiprocessor and a processing element are discussed, and a synchronization mechanism is proposed.
