An Approach to the Integrated Computer-Based Audiometer
Audiometric test types are reviewed and discussed in regard to the created computer-based audiometry software package. It was shown that the computer-based audiometer allowed for more precise evaluation of hearing loss and might be widely applied to assessing impaired auditory systems. Particularly important is the possibility of easy implementation of many nonstandard audiometric tests, which were not in the past often used because of hardware limitations. The computer-based audiometer and its main features are discussed.
