The First Full-Scale Surround-Sound Sweetening Room for HDTV
A discrete 3-1 quadraphonic sound postproduction studio equipped with a full digital processing system has been completed for the purpose of producing HDTV surround-sound programs. The 156-in acoustically transparent HDTV screen and two rear loudspeaker systems for the domestic room and the theater are introduced in this studio. This paper describes an outline of the facilities and the working conditions.
