The Calculation of Directivity of a Loudspeaker System under Various Conditions by Using a Boundary-Element Method: Case of Multiloudspeaker System for Free Space

Document Thumbnail

The radiation characteristics of the loudspeaker system depends largely on the condition of setting up. The objective is to calculate a more accurate soundfield for various loudspeakers and their positions than a free-field scheme. The simulation system was realized by using a boundary element method for this purpose. This paper shows the availability of the simulation system and the calculated result of typical examples.
