Ultrabass Reproducing Loudspeaker System
A description is provided of the development of a bass reproduction loudspeaker which is capable of reproducing an audio signal in the very deep bass band (20 to 40 Hz) in spite of its relatively small size (27 liters). It has a cabinet with an opening, an inner division member with loudspeaker unit, a passive radiator, and active electronics, including loudspeaker motion detection, feedback circuit, and amplifier. The design is intended for a wide variety of product applications from AV and home to high-fidelity to car stereo.
