Reduction on Nonlinear Distortion in Loudspeakers with Digital Motional Feedback

Document Thumbnail

A good bass response in audio sets with small loudspeakers is often problematic. To compensate the small size of the vibrating surface these loudspeakers must have a large-cone displacement. A direct consequence is high nonlinear distortions. A digital motional feedback, together with a compensation technique based on nonlinear inverse dynamics, has been implemented on a DSP using an accelerometer attached to the cone.
