Equalization of Loudspeaker Low-Frequency Response in a Room

The acoustics of a room has a large influence on the frequency response of a loudspeaker. Because an equalization system should be cheap and user friendly, the developed system uses one DSP and the microphone is placed in or on the loudspeaker. For low frequencies where the room has its largest influence, it is possible to correct the frequency response.
