Broadband acoustic holography from intensity measurements (BAHIM) is a powerful field reconstruction technique allowing one to predict the sound radiation from a source simply by determining the nearfield complex pressure distribution on a parallel measurement plane (hologram). This technique, along with fundamental wave descriptive properties of the intensity vector, is used to study a bass-reflex system. Details concerning diffraction, diaphragm/port interaction, and sound propagation are addressed.
