Formant Tracking with Fixed Narrow-Band Filters
In speech processing one is often faced with the problem of measuring formant frequencies. I would like to describe a method of formant tracking which allows not only spectrum poles, but also zeros to be detected, and is able to distinguish second-order poles from simple poles.
