Results from simulations of the performance of new methods for digital audio power amplification are presented. Digital pulse-width modulation is used in conjunction with interpolative noise-shaping techniques to convert digital audio signal data directly into analog power. Simple third-order systems are analyzed with the aim of determining appropriate system parameters for the construction of a prototype.
