An Optimized Concept of Channel Coding for Digital Audio Broadcasting with Respect to Subjective Criteria

Document Thumbnail

In the case of mobile reception of digital audio broadcasting there are always occurring fluctuations of the reception conditions. That is to say bit errors of the transmitted digital information can not be avoided. This contribution will present of concept of optimizing the channel coding strategy depending on the adjacent components of the digital transmission scheme like source coding and modulation. The aim is to get an overall optimal transmission system with respect to subjective criteria.
