A Recording Data Format and a File Management Method for the Disk-Based Digital Audio Editing System

This paper describes a data format and a file management method for our new digital audio editing system using mass storage rewritable disk devices such as Hard Disk Drives and/or Magneto-Optical Disk Drives. Also discussed is editing point data file management method which enables playing back while performing automatic editing operation.
