Numerous techniques exist, some well-known and some not, for correcting or improving most of the performance characteristics of a sound system. Several useful but little known techniques will be presented, and some familiar ones critiqued. Examples will be provided with results of measurements showing the effects of the techniques. A complete regimen for system performance optimization will be offered.
