Computer Simulation and Design of Control and Listening Rooms
On an actual case of two control rooms for recording music, which are just being built, it will be shown how a reliable computer simulation can help both the designer and the user to understand the problems and to find the optimum solution. A proprietary simulation software will be used, which is described elsewhere. The paper will primarily concern the specific problems at low frequencies. The final proposal and design of the rooms with an integrated enhanced monitoring system will also be shown and discussed.
