A Practical Implementation of the EBU ESbus
As the complexity in audio processing equipment increases together with the demand for automation and remote controllability, it has become important for individual manufacturers to provide their products with a common control interface. EBU has proposed a solution to this requirement commonly known as the ESbus system (EBU Tech. 3245). The paper will inspire all users and manufacturers to specify the ESbus in their systems. Examples and conclusions are based on DK-Audio's comprehensive work with the ESbus system.
