Computerized Method of Measurements of Transient Effect in Concert Halls

Document Thumbnail

Many computerized measurements have been made using a personal computer together with digital recorder, spectrum analyzer etc. Spectrum evolution of initial part of signal have been investigated. Each acoustical environment is represented by several samples taken from different points located at auditory floor: the multi dimensional analysis have been performed. The results have been verified by subjective evaluation of the transient effect. Some final conclusions as well as a theory of the transient effect are given in the paper.
