An Automated Approach to Digital Console Software Design

The production of audio engineering-based system diagrams which are compatible with digital sound processor software creation is described. A strategy is outlined whereby this system may be used for the automatic generation and run-time application of signal processor control software. Some additional benefits of this method, including hardware simulation, are explored.
