An Ultra-Low-Noise Monolithic Microphone Preamplifier
A true differential monolithic preamplifier (SSM2016) is described which features ultra-low input noise (850ov/-Hz) and wide bandwidth (500 kHz). Although primarily intended as a microphone preamplifier, the unit can be configured as a bus summing amplifier or general purpose gain block. Fabricated on a high-voltage bipolar process, the unit can run from ±36v supplies and can drive 10v rms into a 600- load.
