The Effect of Bias Amplitude on Output at Very Short Wavelengths

Document Thumbnail

In recording with a standard ring head the output is a function of the bias amplitude. The bias necessary for long wavelengths produces severe losses at very short wavelengths. Data are shown for these relationships, for 30 to 0.12 mil wavelengths.
