Tape Duplicating Systems for Talking Book Program
The requirements for an efficient, high speed duplicating system for the Talking Book Program are defined. Consideration is given to production of intermediate and duplicating masters as well as the final listener tape. Equalization the the problem of recording and reproducing high speed index material are also discussed. It is shown that standard equipments, with minor modifications, can be used to handle the foreseeable Talking Book requirements for the next twenty-year period.
