The technological revolution of the past decade, most of it taking place in the last few years, has turned film and television postproduction into the proverbial "can of worms" for the producer, with cheaper electronic methods of editing becoming available. The purpose of this paper is to give a breakdown and explanation of some of the options available to the producer in his endeavor and follows the flow chart shown.
