Digital Distortion Analyzer

A digital distortion analyzer is presented for testing analog-to-digital conversion circuitry, sample rate converters, and so on. Its operation resembles that of the well known analog distortion analyzer. The instrument removes the test sine wave between 500 Hz and 20 kHz from its digital input signal, and puts the amplified total harmonic distortion plus noise in the monitor digital-to-analog converter for further investigation.
