Acoustic Impulse Response Measurement: A New Technique

Document Thumbnail

Even under ideal conditions, traditional methods of measuring the acoustic impulse response of a concert hall prove limited. A new measurement system utilizing advanced digital inverse filtering techniques has been developed. The measurement system is implemented on a minicomputer and tests show superior results even when the measurements are made in the presence of significant background noise levels.
