A Tone-Burst Method for Measuring Loudspeaker Harmonic Distortion at High Power Levels

Document Thumbnail

A method is described for measuring loudspeaker harmonic distortion safely at various power levels and especially at levels much greater than rated power. The method provides reasonable accuracy and is based on being able to reconstruct the loudspeaker steady-state response from a digital sample of its tone-burst response.
