A General-Purpose Digital Synthesizer

Document Thumbnail

The development of digital music synthesis has been handicapped by its severe computational requirements. A large digital synthesizer has been developed to meet these requirements and to perform the synthesis of complex musical sounds in real time. Its architecture provides a large number of building blocks for digital synthesis and processing as well as a means for rapid and complete control of their interconnections.
