Waveshape Parameter Modulation in Producing Complex Audio Spectra

Document Thumbnail

A new type of synthesis technique which generates complex and dynamic audio spectra has been developed. It is a specific case derived from a general principle, called waveshape parameter modulation. The present method has advantageous features in the economical implementation and realization of some perceptual cues of versatile sounds, including actual music instrument tones.
