A Real-Time Tape Duplication System

A real-time tape duplications system developed for broadcast syndication of high-quality music programs has been successfully operating for over a year. The technical an economic factors of such a system are presented along with a description of the system itself, including a unique scanning monitor system which permits sequentially quality control of the tapes as they are being duplicated. Reliability and performance history is also included.
