A Miniature Combination Record, Reproduce, and Erase Head for 8 Millimeter Magnetic Sound on Film Systems
The incorporation of record, reproduce an erase functions in one magnetic recording head unit offers the important advantages of providing (1) a head system with small space requirements, (2) built-in registration of erase and record track, and (3) an economical construction compared to systems using separate heads. A head design incorporating these features will be presented in this paper.
