An Electroacoustic Testing System for Field and Laboratory Measurements

Measuring equipment varies greatly in complexity, size, and weight. This system is the size of an attache case and weighs 20 pounds. It measures amplitude and phase response of loudspeaker systems using Hanning weighted burst and delayed gate. It also measures RT60, time delay, complex impedance, and the effective source plane of individual drivers. Being simple to operate, its digitized results can be displayed on an oscilloscope, X-Y plotter, or computer.
