Although electronic music in an integral part of our musical culture, many musicians feel that electronic music compositions are deficient in those qualities which make the best instrumental music interesting. Often the problem lies with the composer's misunderstanding the capabilities of sound synthesis equipment and compromising his compositional ideas.
