Analysis of Decoupled-Cone Loudspeakers

Document Thumbnail

The inclusion of a compliance ring in a cone can greatly affect the behavior of a loudspeaker. This behavior is studied through an analogous circuit model, and transfer functions are developed for the system behavior. Comparison with actual units shows that the analysis is accurate in predicting system response.
