Communication System for a Performing Arts Center
Activities in a performing arts center require several types of communicating systems. Components common to two or more systems offer economy in design and fabrication. Selective voice paging, multiple monitoring, multiple headset communications, and visual signaling functions are combined in a single system to handle simultaneous performances in a complex of three theaters with their associated technical areas, shops, and offices. To facilitate installation and testing procedures, standard telephone type cables and connectors are incorporated in the design.
