Three Dimensional Displays for Demonstrating Transient Characteristics of Loudspeakers

Document Thumbnail

The mathematical meaning and the practical methods for displaying concepts of cumulative spectra are discussed. The cross sections parallel to the time axis of the cumulative spectra have been identified with the amplitude modulation components of responses which are caused by the sudden cutoff of the input sinusoidal waves. A new three-dimensional display of the transient response of loudspeakers is proposed.
