Measurement of Cutter Heads by Pulse-Train Methods

Transmission characteristics of cutter heads were measured by pulse-train methods, and their nonminimum-phase characteristics were examined by Hilbert transform methods. Results show that their transmission characteristics are minimum phase within the frequency range of normal motional feedback operation and nonminimum phase above that range.
