Some Relations Between Speech Intelligibility and the Electro-Acoustic Characteristics of Hearing Aids
Correlations of harmonic and intermodulation distortion, frequency response, and signal-to-noise ratio with word recognition scores for hearing impaired listeners are presented. A hypothesis is offered for the significance of harmonic distortion.
