The Absolute Calibration of Hydrophones for Deep-Sea Use

Document Thumbnail

A useful test probe must produce accurate quantitative results. This paper will describe several calibration methods, their relative advantages and limitation, and the equipment required for the calibration. A typical calibration calculation will be presented.
