A Strategy for Automated Editing of Digital Recordings

Document Thumbnail

The all-digital recording studio will perform the traditional functions of recording, mixing, editing and mastering, not only with higher quality but also with greater flexibility and control. A system for editing digitally recorded material is proposed which, when given only approximate cueing information, produces splices of high precision and quality. Examples of edited digital recordings are presented.
