Transistor Input Stage for Phonograph Pickups

This paper describes several transistor circuits that are suitable as input stages for use with phonograph pickups. Circuits are given for both inductive and capacitive pickups. Noise, gain, and interchangeability are the factors that are considered in the circuit design.
